On Thursday, July 16, 2026, the Bernard Binlin Dadié Cultural Palace in Treichville hosted the award ceremony organized by the Mathematical Society of Côte d’Ivoire (SMCI).

Following a highly competitive contest, Miss Eliora Amélie Dakoury, a final-year science (Terminale C) student, was crowned Miss Mathematics 2026. She impressed the jury with her rigor, analytical skills, and outstanding command of mathematics.

Miss Yohaya Mopao Urielle was also honored, winning the Miss Mathematics title in the 9th-grade (3e) category.

Through these awards, the SMCI not only recognizes the academic excellence of the winners but also reaffirms its commitment to promoting science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) among young Ivorian girls. The achievements of Eliora Dakoury and Yohaya Mopao Urielle make them inspiring ambassadors of female academic excellence in Côte d’Ivoire.
