The Municipality of Port-Bouët, under the leadership of Member of Parliament and Mayor Dr. Emmou Sylvestre, honored the municipality’s top high school graduates during the 8th edition of the Baccalaureate Day (JBAC).

Held under the theme of excellence, this year’s event was marked by major awards that open up promising opportunities for the new graduates:

Top Graduate Award:
Yessoh Bogui Yves Emmanuel, a student from Les Roitelets, who ranked first in the municipality with an outstanding average score of 16.39/20, was awarded a full three-year scholarship to the François-Rabelais University of Tours, France. The award also includes financial support, a laptop computer, and several trophies.

Scholarships to India:
Thanks to a partnership with the Embassy of India and Maharishi Markandeshwar University (MM Group), six newly graduated students will travel to India to pursue advanced studies in medicine, engineering, computer science, and management.

Through these initiatives, the Mayor of Port-Bouët, with the support of the Municipal Council, reaffirms his unwavering commitment to nurturing a highly skilled generation of young leaders, equipped to meet the challenges of sustainable development.
